Reading Your Wallet Transaction History
Where to find it
Your wallet has a full transaction history, viewable at any time from the wallet section of the app. It's an ongoing, scrollable log — most recent entries first — of everything that has ever happened to your balance.
Why every entry stays, permanently
Nothing in your transaction history is ever edited or deleted after the fact. If something needs to be corrected, a new entry is added to explain it rather than the old one being changed. This matters for you mainly as a trust signal: your history is a complete, honest record of what actually happened to your money, not a summary that could quietly change later.
The entry types you'll see
- Deposit — money you added to your wallet.
- Reservation hold — money temporarily set aside for a request that's in progress. See holds vs. settlement explained.
- Reservation release — a hold being returned to your available balance, either because the request finished (ahead of a settle entry) or because it failed (see how refunds work when a generation fails).
- Reservation settle — the real charge for a request that completed successfully.
- Refund — money returned outside the normal hold/release flow, such as a payment dispute resolution.
- Adjustment — a manual correction made by SoulrisAI staff, always with a reason attached.
- Promotional credit — free credit granted to your account rather than money you deposited, kept clearly distinct from a deposit so it's never mistaken for your own spending.
Following one message or generation through the log
A single successful chat message typically shows up as two entries close together: a hold, then a settle for the real (usually lower) amount. A failed generation shows just a hold followed by a release, with no settle entry at all — the clearest way to confirm you genuinely weren't charged for something that didn't work.
What each entry tells you
Every entry shows the amount, the type, a running balance after that entry, and a short description of what it was for. That's enough to answer "what did I just get charged for" without needing to cross-reference anything else.
Using this for troubleshooting
If your balance looks different from what you expected, your transaction history is the first place to check — it's the full, ordered truth of what happened, over anything a screen's balance display shows at a glance. See paid but balance didn't update if a deposit specifically isn't showing up the way you expected.
Exporting or sharing your history
There's no separate export step needed to review your full history — it's all available directly in the app, paged as you scroll back, with nothing hidden or summarized away.
