Supported Payment Methods and Currencies on SoulrisAI
Your wallet balance is always in US dollars
Whatever currency you actually pay in, your SoulrisAI wallet balance itself is tracked in USD. This keeps pricing consistent across every user, regardless of local currency fluctuations — the cost of a chat message or an image generation doesn't silently change in dollar terms just because an exchange rate moved.
What currency you see at checkout
If you're paying from Nigeria, SoulrisAI detects this automatically and shows you pricing in Naira at checkout, along with Naira-specific payment rails — bank transfer, USSD, and NGN-issued cards — rather than a USD-only card charge that not every Nigerian card can process. Your Naira payment is converted to USD at the prevailing rate and credited to your wallet in dollars.
If you're outside a supported local-currency region
You'll see USD pricing and pay with a USD-capable card. This is also the automatic fallback if your location can't be reliably determined, or if local-currency pricing isn't available at that moment — SoulrisAI always falls back to a method that works, rather than failing the deposit outright.
How your region is detected
Detection happens automatically based on where your connection is coming from — you don't need to manually select a country or currency. If it ever gets this wrong (for example, if you're using a VPN), you can still complete your deposit; you'd simply see USD pricing instead of Naira.
Does the payment method affect the price?
No — the amount you choose to deposit is the amount that gets converted and credited, aside from the normal cost of currency conversion where applicable. There's no extra SoulrisAI-side fee for choosing one supported payment method over another.
What if my preferred payment method isn't offered?
The available payment methods are determined by what your detected currency and region support. If bank transfer or USSD isn't showing and you expected it, confirming your currency is correctly detected (Naira, not USD) is the first thing to check — see how to fund your wallet for where that's shown during the deposit flow.
A note on the minimum deposit
Whichever currency you're depositing in, there's still a minimum deposit amount that applies, shown converted into your local currency at checkout so you always know exactly what you're committing to before you pay.
