Deleting Your SoulrisAI Account and Your Data
How to request deletion
Deletion currently works by request rather than a self-service button in the app: email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll reply to confirm we've received the request before acting on it — this extra step exists so an account can't be deleted by someone spoofing your email address rather than actually being you.
What happens after you ask
Once your request is confirmed, your account is deactivated and scheduled for deletion. For the full, precise terms of this process, see our Account Deletion policy.
What gets deleted, and what's kept
Your profile, your preferences, and your conversation content are deleted. Some records are kept even after deletion where SoulrisAI is legally required to — for example, transaction records tied to your wallet, kept for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Some device-level abuse-prevention signals (not tied to you personally) may also be retained to keep free-tier protections working for everyone else. See the Account Deletion policy and Privacy Policy for the complete detail on retention.
Before you request deletion
This is permanent and can't be undone once completed. Check two things first:
- Your wallet balance. If you have unused funds in your wallet, review our Refund Policy before deleting, since a deleted account's balance can't be recovered afterward.
- Whether deletion is really what you need. If you're deleting because of a specific problem — a billing issue, something you saw that concerned you, an account access issue — email [email protected] about that first. A lot of things that feel like "I need to leave" are actually fixable without losing your account and everything in it.
Changing your mind
If you've asked for deletion and want to reconsider, reach out to [email protected] as soon as possible — the sooner you reach out relative to your original request, the more likely it can still be stopped.
Questions about the process
Email [email protected] — whether to start a deletion request or just to ask a question about what it involves before you decide.
